Pudding Cottage

A charmingly designed, luxurious self-catering cottage sprinkled with some sophisticated styling and an English country home style which flows seamlessly throughout. The country inspired flavour with a twist of romance creates a luxury self-catering space to relax and be inspired.

Location

Pudding Cottage is part of a small exclusive courtyard development nestled on the edge of the historic conservation town of Market Bosworth in the sleepy village of Carlton. Carlton has a long tradition of farming, in fact the name of the village originally meant the land of ''the free peasants'' and the settlement was talked of in the Domesday Book. Market Bosworth is the bigger sister and Pudding is ideally located on the long old Roman road which takes you into the village centre of Market Bosworth.

Market Bosworth is steeped in history and is best known for the decisive battle of the Wars of the Roses fought on the 22nd August 1485, when Richard became the last King of England to die on the field of battle.  The historic market place, at the centre of the town, is surrounded by interesting speciality shops, cafes and restaurants and hosts a monthly Farmers Market. There are many beautiful walks; most notable is the historical former parkland of Bosworth Hall, thirty five hectares of landscaped grassland with a lake, arboretum, wildflower meadow and woodland.  The walk along the quaint gated road from Market Bosworth to the picturesque village of Sutton Cheney and the Hercules Revived, a wonderful honest English Country Inn, is highly recommended.
