The National Forest Walking Festival returns from 19 – 31 May
It’s your chance to discover what Christopher Somerville, writing in The Times, recently called England’s “unsung miracle”. Walking part of the National Forest Way, he said: “A green flood of trees is being released… dozens of small new woodlands, many linked to form wildlife corridors, offer a skein of footpaths beckoning to walkers.” The Festival offers walks for all ages and abilities to enjoy, guided and themed walks and beautiful places to explore. Walkers can choose from dozens of guided walks – graded from easy to strenuous.
We’d love to welcome you to The Dandelion Hideaway for a midweek holiday from Monday 21st May for a 4-night stay. And, even better, you’ll enjoy a complimentary breakfast hamper if you are visiting for the National Forest Walking Festival! Visit the website here to download a brochure and be tempted by the walks.
